Dominica – Sängerin/Performerin (Berlin), zelebriert mit warmer facettenreicher Stimme ihre Verbundenheit zur Musik mit ausdrucksstarker Performance und tänzerischer Leichtigkeit. Als Medium von Senden und Empfangen, von Musik-Erleben nimmt sie das Publikum mit in klangvolle und groovige Zeitfenster. Unterschiedliche Stilrichtungen werden gespielt mit hochkarätigen Instrumentalisten u.a. der Bands BAP, Fury in the Slaughterhouse, Herbert Grönemeyer, Xavier Naidoo, Rio Reiser oder Moses Pelham. Backgroundgesang bei Größen wie Wolfgang Niedecken, Julia Neigel, UB 40, Culcha Candela – Tour Support, Frankie Goes to Hollywood, Howard Jones oder den Dortmunder Philharmonikern, live – und Studio Einsätze für Projekte anderer Künstler, Sprecherin für Showproduktionen etc. oder powern am Leadmikrofon auf Events, Galas, Filmfestivals.
In jungen Jahren sang sie bereits u.a. mit dem Musikkollektiv „This is how We do it“, welches Musiker/innen etablierter Bands und Solokünstler/innen aus ganz Europa vereinte. Die junge Sängerin textet und kreiert ebenso eigene Stücke. Mit einem ihrer Projekte ging es bereits auf die Bühnen wie ins TV/Radio Lateinamerikas, auf Tour im deutschsprachigen Raum und über diesen hinaus.
Dem Original nahekommend oder in eigenem Stil, interpretiert sie ausgewählte Stücke und findet den Dialog mit dem Publikum. Dominica betritt die Bühne und singt mit einer Energie die berührt.
Die Essenz ihrer Stimme mischt sich mit vielen Grooves und Genres – ob mit Wucht, Feingespür oder „old-soul“ – man glaubt es ihr.

Dominica performs in a variety of styles with top-class instrumentalists from bands such as BAP and Fury in the Slaughterhouse as well as musicians accompanying the likes of Herbert Grönemeyer, Xavier Naidoo, Rio Reiser and Moses Pelham. She has also contributed background vocals to stars like Frankie Goes to Hollywood, Howard Jones, Wolfgang Niedecken, Julia Neigel and UB40, played support to Culcha Candela, and even regularly sings with the Dortmund Philharmonic Orchestra.
What’s more, she has taken part in both studio and live projects by other artists, appeared on various shows as presenter and narrator, and of course provided powerful lead vocals at a host of special events, galas and film festivals.
At a young age, Dominica sang with the music collective This Is How We Do It, which brought together musicians from established bands and solo artists from all over Europe. As well as touring Germany, she has also performed on stage elsewhere, and even made it onto radio and TV in South America with a project spanning several years.
As well as writing and performing her own songs, Dominica sings an exquisite selection of other people’s material, sometimes sticking closely to the original, at other times in her own inimitable style. As soon as she takes the stage, the audience is enthralled by her musical presence and the energy she radiates.
